Weeekly Terminated Contract with IST Entertainment

Beyond Music, which highly values the potential of IST’s music, made the acquisition, drawing attention to the future paths of artists under IST, such as Jeong Eun-ji, Weeekly, and ATBO.

There had been speculation about IST artists potentially transferring their contracts to Beyond Music, but Weeekly has chosen to end its contract with IST without a transfer.

The future direction of Weeekly’s activities remains undecided, and it’s likely that the members will seek individual paths.

Comments:

1. Didn’t Weeekly also receive positive reactions until “Tag Me (@Me)”? It suddenly felt a bit disconnected when they started creating a new music mindset.

2. Weeekly really has a lot of talented members… sighㅠㅠ

3. Why mock their parents? Looks like they’ll be facing a lawsuit. Sigh.

4. By the way, these are the ones who swept all the Rookie of the Year awards, and now they’re falling apart like this.

5. I really feel bad for Weeekly… They debuted in 2020, during the early days of the 4th generation, and except for them and STAYC, everyone else was more on the “girl crush” side, so they were almost the only high teen group.

6. It’s a shame. ㅜ
